Beards
Keep your beard sharp between trims
, 1 min read

Simple daily habits for a softer, tidier beard: washing, oiling, brushing and knowing when to leave the trimmer alone.
A good trim gives your beard its shape. What you do at home decides how long that shape lasts.
Wash it, but not with shampoo
Regular shampoo strips the oils your beard and the skin underneath need. Use a beard wash a few times a week and plain water in between.
Oil and brush daily
- A few drops of beard oil after a shower keeps hair soft and stops itchy, flaky skin.
- Work it in down to the skin, not just across the surface.
- Brush or comb downwards to train the hair and spread the oil evenly.
Don't chase the line
It's easy to keep tidying the cheek and neck lines until they've crept too far. Only take off what's grown back since your last trim, and leave reshaping to your barber.
